Walnut Burl Wooden Backgammon

Walnut burl is a beautiful tree that symbolizes confidence and mental wisdom.  The heartwood of the tree can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown wavy grains. The handcrafted Walnut burl Backgammon with side racks for checkers is available in 3 sizes.  The playing field is a combination of walnut with oak & black color points. 

This backgammon is handmade using the art of marquetry (also spelled as marqueterie) which is the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns and designs.
